Stock Journal looks back to February 1969, when farm machinery days at Poochera and Hindmarsh Valley attracted good crowds. Wool sales were the highest they had been for at least five years, while a number of international visitors travelled to the state for various livestock-related reasons.
More than 300 people attended a woolshed dance and party on the property of John and Erica McInnes, Yantanabie.
