Stock Journal looks back to July 1991, when the Miss Country Showgirl title went to a Bute local, the Alice Springs Show supreme bull hailed from Bordertown, and people from right across the state kicked their heels up at the pastoralists' ball and dinner dance in Port Augusta, and also at Adelaide's first town and country B&S ball.
Merino field days in the South East and Murray Mallee drew crowds, while young talent was also on show at the SA Junior Heifer Expo.
