Stock Journal looks back to the start of 1972, when the first purebred South Devons were brought to SA, from New Zealand, and a Carousel tandem type rotary dairy was shipped to Port Adelaide from Britain - the first of its type in Australia.
The SA Yearling Sales and Mid North beef field days also attracted plenty of attention.
