HEAVY lambs were $5 either side of firm, while trade lambs were $8 to $12 dearer, at the Ouyen Livestock Exchange sheep market on Thursday.
There were 7149 lambs and 2069 mutton offered, totaling 9218.
Export new season lambs sold from $195 to $220 or $6 a kilogram to $7/kg, while trade types made $166-$210 ($7.40-$8.10/kg); and light stores were $120-$164.
A&N Hulland, Patchewollock, Vic, sold 27 crossbred suckers at $220, while G Crane, Murrayville, Vic, sold 37 at $216.
W Schultz, Mittyack, Vic, sold 45 crossbred suckers at $215, while F Stone, Torrita, Vic, sold 40 at $213.
Downdale, Speed, Vic, sold 59 crossbred lambs at $212, while Erhardt Partners, Galah, Vic, sold 55 at $206.
Older export lambs sold from $177-$226 ($7-$7.20/kg); trades made $175-$183; while light lambs made $6.30-$6.60/kg.
Grey Oaks Farming, Baring Nth, Vic, sold 80 older crossbred lambs at the $226 top, while KP&PJ Kelly, Werrimull, VIc, sold 156 at $225.
G&P Burns, Tempy, Vic, sold 50 crossbred lambs at $220; T&S Monaghan, Tempy, sold 23 at $220; and P&A Farnsworth, Underbool, sold 20 also at $220.

Mutton sold firm and up to $20 dearer, with heavies making $140-$175 ($4-$5/kg), while lighter types sold from $45-$138 ($4.50-$5.50/kg).
Tamaleuca, Kulwin, Vic, sold the top heavies - 56 at $175; while DL&JF Dutschke, Karoonda, sold 182 at $170.
Erhardt Partners, Galah, Vic, sold 83 mutton at $165; while J,E,M,P Lockett, Underbool, Vic, sold 67 at $151.
N&F Hamilton, Timberoo, Vic, sold 56 mutton at $174; while JP&RJ Scott, Timberoo, sold 38 at $170.
Milpara Props, Wentworth, NSW, sold 74 Merino lambs at $170, while F&L Latta, Walpeup, Vic, also sold 20 Merino lambs at $165.
Dorper lambs were also offered, with M&C Heintze, Murrayville, selling 39 at $189, while CD&SL Mead, Lameroo, sold 23 also at $189.
The next Ouyen sale will be held on September 15.
