DESPITE strong buyers support the prices dropped slightly on the previous market held at Mount Pleasant, on Thursday.
Topping the sale was a pen of six lambs from Vizma Hazel, Currency Creek, which made $180 - only $8 shy of last fortnights top.
J&J Sporn, Mylor, offered 12 which sold at $176, while B&C Borrett, Langhorne Creek, fetched $174 for six lambs and BJ&BJ Schirmer, Cambrai, made $172 on 10 lambs.
In the hogget offering Maywald Vineyards, Nuriootpa, offered two which sold at $148, while DM&SM Schirmer, Cambrai, made $140 from a pen of three.
A run of nine hoggets from MC&RL Willis, Murray Bridge, sold at $132, and BJ&BJ Schirmer, sold three to $132.
In the mutton line up, seven were offered by TJ Crouch, Tailem Bend, which sold at $146, while Gavin Miller, Strathalbyn, sold two at the same price.

An Angus steer put up by M&GLR Kochan, topped the cattle offering at $2600, while A&K Scott, Waikerie, sold another Angus steer for $2000.
In the heifer job, AG&BA Loffler, offered two Murray Grey's which sold at $2220, followed by a Hereford from D&M&C Schultz, Cambrai, which made $1960.
One Hereford cow from Rachel Barnett, Oakbank, made $2460, and two Angus cows from RS&SM Cox, Palmer, made $2320.
Nutrein Fawcett livestock agent David Schultz said the line up was good and vendors were happy with the market results.
"There was another buyer on the market yesterday which we hadn't seen for a little while," he said.
"Mutton prices were also good, while cattle prices were firm to slightly dearer than last fortnight.
"There were some reasonable store cattle and good kill cattle which sold well."
The next Mount Pleasant market is September 8.
