While the future of upcoming shows this year may be uncertain or already cancelled, back in the September 1977 editions of Stock Journal, it was all go for many shows, including Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth, Gawler and Wudinna.
Also making news was crop failing due to drought, thought to be the "worst this century"; while ram sales and field days were also on, including the Riverland Gadget and Implement Field Days in Waikerie.
