Returns for well-presented lambs remained strong at Mount Pleasant market on Thursday last week, with multiple processors operating on stock across the solid yarding.

Damo's Dorpers, Pewsey Vale, made the $202 top price for its 17 and a further $188 for 13.
RO&DI Carman, Mount Barker Springs, had 21 crossbred lambs make $178 and Semmler Brothers, Lyndoch, had six make $170.
At the top end of the market, returns for lambs with good weight held up, with Hearnden Farms, Keyneton, making $168 for 29.
Dajan Enterprises, Harrogate, had 10 at $160, while hoggets made between $62-$80, at the top end.
Hearnden Farms had four make $80 and V Macri, Mt Pleasant, had three Dorper hoggets make $74.
KH&DL Gore, Biggs Flat, had four Merinos at $64.
In the mutton section, a larger run of 28 Merinos from DM&RI Wooldridge, Caurnamont, made $75 and P Giles, Murray Bridge, had two at $70.
Steers reached a top of $1955 or $3.52 a kilogram for one, 555-kilogram steer from Ardene, Mount Torrens.
Rathjen Farming, Springton, made $1816 or $2.98/kg for a 609kg steer and MD&CA Peters, Gumeracha, made $1775 or $2.84/kg.
The 500-600kg weight range held value with a steer from Ames Pastoral, Springton, making $1678 or $3.14/kg for a 534kg steer.
Heifers made to $1464 or $2.92/kg for a 500kg heifer from JD Cawrse , Nairne, and $1387 or $3/kg was made for a 462kg heifer from D&M&C Schultz, Cambrai.
Landsdown, Mount Pleasant, made $1660 or $2.16/kg for two, 767kg cows and calves, while cows held value and reached a top of $1890 or $2.50/kg for two 756kg cows from J Semmler, Rosedale.
The next market will be held on June 13.
