Business cards lining the walls of a pub upon stepping foot inside was an interesting choice of wall paper for the North Blinman Hotel, located 60 kilometres North of Wilpena Pound.
But upon further inspection the business cards are from everyone and anyone who has stopped through and made a donation to the Royal Flying Doctor Service which frequents the town monthly.
The hotel is ran by Dave Scicluna and his wife Caroline, Alpana, met at the pub and took it over seven years ago after it was Caroline's dream to own it.
Dave runs the Angorichina Tourist Village, where they live while Caroline runs the hotel.
He said the pub is 151 years old and now offered six hotel ensuite rooms as well as four ensuite motel rooms, plus satellite television.
"There's a lot of things that make the pub iconic," he said.
"I think because it's been here for so long, it hasn't been yuppied.
"It still has the old style business cards, the bar hasn't changed much besides a new top, and we have a fairly famous pizza night on a Friday night.
"I mean we're back to reality."
He said the business card donations had been on the wall for over 40 years and most people who dropped in would donate to contribute their business card to the wall.
But it's not the only charity they support with a range of variety bashes coming past over the years.
"We get a lot of variety bashes here, we have camp oven cook offs and we just booked 350 people in for the bash in August," he said.
"We have also had Adam Brands play here and we get Irrational SOUTH 200 miler's running through too.
"But most people come for our Friday night pizzas."
Mr Scicluna said their record for pizzas in one night was 189 last year despite the town population only being 28 people.
"They start at 4:30 and finish at 9:30-10PM - but the chef is pretty good," he said.
"On a usual Friday night we'd get anywhere from 80 to 90 people through."
He said the secret to running a successful pub was to stay calm, be polite and go with the flow.
"We are open 10am to 10pm everyday," he said.
"The pub speaks for itself."
