SAFF slammed the Liberal government over mining legislation and a YP farmer had big concerns about mining companies taking prime cropping land in the area, while the Cambrai locals advocated for their local silos which were still closed, despite the region heading into one of its best harvests in many years.
Producers across the state also shared their thoughts about the positives of sheep coming over from WA, as abundant green grass in the South East gave struggling WA producers a lifeline in another tough season.
