Visitors came from far and wide to attend Day 2 of this year's Beef Week, after impressive genetics from studs in the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu and Riverland were on display.
The second day of the four-day event, which kicked off on Friday, showcased Barossa Angus, Boonarkm, Bottlesford, Boulview, Carrsview, The Elms and Ewyn Speckle Park.
Also on today's agenda was Broomfield, Fleurieu Wagyu, Tooperangus, Nangaringa, Highridge and Newlyn Park.
A couple of newcomers to the event also helped to set the scene for a buoyant year in the cattle industry, as producers continue to widen their scope for top genetics.
Three cattle studs throughout the Mid North region opened their gates on Day 1 to display their bred progeny and bloodlines.
Ballyvaughan, Boconnoc Park, Redwood Range Speckle Park, Auburn, and Maryvale, Allendale North, joined in on the action.
Ballyvaughan stud principal Katrina Sanders said it was the busiest they had been in years and described the event as "excellent".
