Number were down but prices trended largely dearer, compared with the market two weeks prior, at the Ouyen, Vic, Livestock Exchange on Thursday.
There were 3062 head yarded, with 2549 lambs and 513 mutton.
Heavy lambs trended $5 to $15 dearer while trade lambs were $10-$15 dearer and mutton firm.
Export quality lambs made $140 to $180 ($4.85 a kilogram to $5.30/kg), while trade lambs returned $100-$151 ($5.10-$6/kg) and lighter lambs sold to $100.
B&C O'Callaghan, Ouyen, topped the market with a run of 65 crossbred lambs at $180, while another run of 74 returned $171 and 29 made $169.
Brown Ag, Underbool, Vic, sold 38 at $178 and 83 at $170.
A run of 20 crossbred lambs from Richwood Farms, Carwarp, Vic, made $172 and CM&RK Lockett, Underbool, sold 21 at $170.
Heavy Merino lambs sold from $134-$145 ($5-$5.30/kg).
AR Kay Trust, Meringur, Vic, sold 56 Merino lambs at $145, M Burns, Tempy, Vic, had 74 make $142 and Richwood Farms had 24 return $140.
AR Kay Trust, also had 32 Dorper lambs make $134.

Lighter mutton sold to $85 ($3.50-$4/kg) while the heavier runs reached $100 ($2.80-$3/kg).
B&J Watson, Pinnaroo, sold 84 mutton at $110, while LJ&RC Plant, Annuello, received $100 for 115.
