MORE breed exhibitors were welcomed at this years Brown Swiss competition to highlight and recognise the dairying type.
With only one exhibitor and one entry meant the first place intermediate exhibit Bridge View Lola, was also the champion.
Owner Damien Doecke, Murray Bridge, said they would love to have some more brown swiss at the Adelaide show.
"We would love anyone who's got one to bring it along," he said.
"My wife Candice loves this cow and we purchased it as more of a pet for around the farm.
"We sort of just have a few breeds which run around home for something a bit different.
"It was always a real pet as a calf, she was very friendly and my wife probably thought she was cute too."
He said the same exhibit was also entered in 2019 as it was "actually quite a good looking heifer back then too".
"So we entered her again to come along as part of the team as she is a fairly good cow.

"She was dry this year, but we still wanted to bring her along."
Brown Swiss judge Ray Fiebiger, Keyneton, said it was good to see the Brown Swiss represented.
"I always like to see all cattle breeds represented because I think a great place for those breeds to become recognised from not only from the dairy point of view, but so anybody not associated with agriculture knows what breeds of cattle are out in the countryside," he said.
"The cow was a very good exhibit for the Brown Swiss breed.
"I was very impressed with the standard of the cow, it was typical of the brown swiss, a very strong animal but it still had the dairy qualities of softness and flatness of bone.
"It was a big capacious cow, a well balanced cow.
"Even though it was dry, it displayed an udder that looked to be extremely well attached both fore and rear.
"It really did have the strength that is associated with brown swiss cattle."
