A Balaklava man has been left with serious injuries after being involved in a crash at Whitwarta on Thursday night.
Police are investigating the serious crash that happened just before 3pm on Thursday.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Templeton Road and St Station Road after a SsangYong utility collided with a caravan being towed by a Toyota 4WD.
The driver of the utility was a 33-year-old man from the Balaklava region, that sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
The man and woman in the Toyota were not injured.
Templeton Road was closed between Hudson Road just outside of Balaklava and the township of Whitwarta while police investigated the crash but has now been reopened.
