IN the month of October in the year 2000 a fuel crisis had hit the state, dairy farmers rebutted stamp duty requirements, farmers joined a $6-million locust fight with ram sales galore but most of the state was on track for a record harvest.
Jamestown Show was also on but in Karoonda, crops went from a record to ruin.
