Unseasonable early season heat to break Vic records

Victorian crops will endure early season heat with temperatures in the Mallee set to push into the mid-30s today.

SOUTH EASTERN Australia is set to endure some record breaking early spring heat before a welcome rain band crosses the region.

Gregor Heard is ACM's national grains industry reporter, based in Horsham, Victoria. He has a wealth of knowledge surrounding the cropping sector through his 15 years in the role.
