TO CELEBRATE its 30th birthday, Quality Wool is hitting the road and marking the occasion with growers across the country.
The wool broker will be toasting 30 years in business with a limited edition 'Q' draught beer, made in collaboration with Pirate Life Brewing, delivered to rural communities in a branded van also carrying apparel made from some of its clients' own clips.
Quality Wool managing director Mark Dyson said the company would be getting together with growers and coordinating functions at its wool stores, as well as holding events with local clubs, organisations and businesses.
Pending COVID-19 restrictions and border closures, the Quality Wool van will head to SA, Vic, NSW and Qld regions, attending various events, including the Yorke Peninsula Field Days.
Quality Wool began its Port Adelaide wool store operations in 1991, and has since grown to also have 10 regional sites across SA, Vic and NSW.

Mr Dyson said he never thought the company would be positioned where it is today in the Australian and global wool industry.
"Thirty years can sound like a long time, but it has gone quickly,'' he said.
"In the early days, we were the 'new kid on the block' and our main competition was tradition. Now in these later years, we are well positioned going forward with the demand for commodities and our global network and relationships.''
He said having strong relationships and loyal clients had been a key driver of success.
"We can't put a value on the relationships we have - they are priceless," Mr Dyson said. "And through our team, we would like to extend our appreciation for the support we have received over so many years.''
He also praised the Quality Wool team for helping the business establish and maintain its strong reputation.
"Reputations are built over many years with staff members and we always have prided ourselves on a strong reputation throughout Australia and globally," he said.
