RURAL health initiative Fat Farmers has today announced a new 'Platinum Partnership' with Ramsey Bros and Case IH coming on board as their key sponsor.
Fat Farmers founder Ben Wundersitz said the initiative had always relied on generous sponsors.
"Ramsey Bros have a very long history of working with rural communities and we are excited to announce that they have committed to support Fat Farmers as our Platinum Partner for the next 18 months," he said.
"This support will help us reach more farming communities than ever before, as we are really striving to establish more groups across the state."
The initiative was founded by a group of Yorke Peninsula farmers when they realised that farm work alone was not providing enough exercise to stay healthy, especially as they were getting older.

There were other benefits that appealed, including better sleep, improved concentration and mental clarity and overall wellbeing, while the strong social connection was also deemed important.
There are now 10 groups of farmers of all ages, with most meeting each week for a walk, a workout or bike ride.
Ramsey Bros group sales manager Tim Glover said the company couldn't think of a more fitting group to partner with.
"At the end of the day, we're nothing without the individuals and communities that make up the agricultural industry and we love seeing them being put first," he said.
