GLENCORE Agriculture in Australia has rebranded to Viterra.

The move follows the global rebrand of Glencore Agriculture to Viterra last November.

Viterra, which means vitality from the earth, is a globally-recognised brand with a deep connection to agriculture.

Viterra Australia & New Zealand chief executive officer Tim Krause said uniting the business under a single name strengthens access to markets for Australian growers.

"Our global network of people, storage, handling and transport assets and marketing offices creates significant value for our grower customers in Australia by connecting them with consumers around the world," he said.

"We are committed to our successful, long-lasting relationships with our grower and end use customers and we are strongly positioning our network to bring benefits to them now and in the future," Mr Krause said.

"We look forward to further growth and ongoing investment in our network and continuing to connect the agriculture industry."

Customers will start to see the new Viterra brand from today, aside from this change it is business as usual.
