HEAVY lambs were $5 to $8 easier at Ouyen Livestock Exchange in Vic on Thursday last week, while trade lambs were firm to $5 cheaper.
Overall, 8284 lambs and 1712 mutton were on offer, totalling 9996 head.
Export lambs sold from $200 to $266, or $6.90 a kilogram to $7.60/kg; trade types made $154-$218 ($7.30- $7.90/kg; while store lambs made $48-$172.
W Schultz, Mittyack, sold 40 crossbred lambs at $266, while N&F Hamilton, Timberoo, sold 45 at $260.
D&J Goldsmith, Yarrara, sold 109 crossbred lambs at $256, while Andersons of Bronzewing, Bronzewing, sold 156 at $254.
Erhardt Partners, Galah, sold 59 crossbred lambs at $253, while MG Lynch, Meringur, sold 58 at $250.
DR&CM O'Shannessy, Walpeup, sold 38 crossbred lambs at $248, as did Cureton Pastoral, Mildura, with 104 @head.
Keribee Pastoral, Gol Gol, sold 116 crossbred lambs at $245, as did J Hahnel, Nominees, Timberoo, with 56 head, while G&P Burns, Tempy, sold 47 crossbred lambs at $242.

Heavy Merinos sold from $196-$225 ($7-$7.50/kg), while lighter types made $100-$186 ($7-$7.50/kg).
A Beelitz Family Trust, Parrakie, sold 39 Merino lambs at $225, while Lyndon Park, Boinka, sold 48 at $220.
Heavy mutton sold from $185-$228 ($6-$7/kg), while lighter types made $63-$170 ($6-$7/kg).
I Arney, Werrimull, sold 145 mutton at $246, while Newhaven, Carwarp, sold 28 at $243.
Erhardt Partners sold 49 mutton at $237, while Batten Partners, Karoonda, sold 30 at $235.
TH Jackson & Sons, Underbool, sold 35 mutton at $228, while D Grace, Wentworth, sold 42 at $219.
Dorper lambs were also offered, with M&C Heintze, Murrayville, selling 38 at $179.
The next sale will be held at Ouyen on May 13.
