A series of workshops into frost risk management are set to be rolled out across SA in the upcoming fortnight.
The GRDC Better Frost Decisions workshops - run by Mallee Sustainable Farming - will explore practical aspects of on-farm frost management, and will assist growers in developing locally-relevant management strategies.
"The workshops will cover all frost-related considerations for growers, from the impact of a changing climate, climate and temperature scenarios, zoning strategies on-farm, whole farm frost risk management, and the impact on profitability," GRDC Grower Relations Manager (South) Tom Blake said.
"These highly-interactive workshops will allow for plenty of opportunity for questions and answers and grower discussions."
