WITH tourism booming in the Flinders Ranges, businesses came together to learn more about keeping the momentum going in SA pastoral regions at the Diversification from the Dust forum.
They were told to determine what makes their location, and offering unique - which may not always be evident to those to whom it is normal - and enhance that for their clients.
There was also discussion about what changes have emerged in the market since the COVID-19 outbreak and how this might continue even as vaccinations roll out.

Key note speaker, futurist Gihan Perera, said operators should be open to new opportunities and consider themselves "possibility thinkers" when approaching new ideas.
"Don't wait for all your ducks to be lined up in a row, the world won't be perfect so start now, that's the best way to be ready for the future," he said.
