In the month of January 1993, SA was hit with one its worst floods. Crops that were still waiting to be reapt were swallowed up by water and livestock were frantically moved to higher ground.
But weaner cattle prices at Naracoorte, Western Station and Watervalley were booming. The Yankee Shout lunch was also held.
