One final opportunity to buy a part of the Agosta Vineyards in Loxton in South Australia's renowned Riverland viticulture and horticulture region remains, following an initial $1.638 million sale.
A 295 hectare landholding features a 72ha vineyard accompanied by 105ha of cropping land as well as areas planted to almonds, olives and citrus fruit, and was divided into four components for sale.
Three of those, including the primary vineyard, were snapped up by a local, private buyer.
The remaining 39ha across three crown leases, the Home Farm lot would suit viticulture or horticulture development and is valued at $950 000.
The parcel has grown grape varieties including Grenache, Mataro, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chenin Blanc, Gordo, Ruby Cabernet, Merlot and Shiraz, and is attached to a 325ML water delivery right.
The Home Farm lot would suit viticulture or horticulture development.
Home Farm is approximately six kilometres from Loxton, within the key irrigation district in South Australia's east, with improvements including three houses and shedding.
CBRE Agribusiness' Angus Bills and Phil Schell are managing the sale by private treaty.
"South Australia's Riverland region is well-known for viticulture and horticulture production," Mr Bills said.
"The last piece of the Agosta Vineyards, Home Farm represents a well-located development opportunity for an existing operator looking to expand their presence in the area."
The already-sold Main Farm parcel features cropping land and grape, almond and olive plantations, while the Gratwick Road Farm and Kibby Road/Dorsch Avenue Farm lots pair wine and orange production.
