The MDBA is recruiting for APS 5, APS 6, Executive Level 1 and Executive Level 2 roles in Murray Bridge, as well as Goondiwindi, Qld, Griffith, NSW, and Mildura, Vic.
MDBA chief executive Phillip Glyde said strong local relationships were key to the MDBA's success.
"We've long been committed to developing and maintaining strong links with regional communities," he said.
"We already have offices in Canberra, Albury-Wodonga, Toowoomba, Adelaide and Goondiwindi.
"By 2021 we'll grow our regional workforce to more than 100 employees.
"We are looking for energetic and passionate people from a variety of fields, including water resource modelling and engineering, environmental and biological sciences, natural resource management, communications, research, project management and business services.
"Our economy and communities rely on a healthy basin, and it's our job to work with basin governments to integrate the management of water resources - it's challenging and rewarding work."
Re-location packages are being offered to candidates who are willing to relocate to new regional offices.
