The quality of sheep on the day was "excellent", according to Karoonda and Districts Stud Merino Field Day president Grant Johnson, who said the day provided an excellent opportunity for commercial breeders to see what was on offer for the upcoming ram sale season.
Many people came from outside the area to inspect the studs.
Mr Johnson said with high meat and wool prices, it was a "great time to be in the industry".
Stock Journal's CLAIRE HARRIS went along and snapped some of the action.
