Honours in the strong wool section judged by Russell Jones, Dariwell, Merinos, Trundle saw the ram grand championship awarded to the four tooth March-shorn ram paraded by David Zouch, stud manager, Hollow Mount, Bigga.
"He is my type of sheep," Mr Jones said.
"Thick, long stapled with a bold crimp and soft wool."
Mr Jones said they are the sheep which fill bales of wool through tough seasons.
"He is a very attractive ram with a big chest and deep barrell with a nice long-stapled fleece," he said.
The reserve grand champion was exhibited by the Alcock family, Greenland, Bungarby.
The ewe grand championship was awarded to the Alcock family, Greenland, Bungarby.
Russell Jones considered the ewe worthy of the championship for overall outlook and balance.
"She is very well finished, with a long-stapled strong wool," he said.
The reserve grand championship was given to the March-shorn two tooth ewe exhibited by Richard Chalker, Lachriver, Cowra.
