SIMPLICITY Australia is about to hit the road with its new planter package to show just what is on offer with the Territory Planter and Simplicity Sectional Control.
On show as part of the Wise Farm site at South East Field Days, the Simplicity Australia Demo Road Show will be in full operation not far up the road at a property near Bordertown on March 12 before moving across the State to Saddleworth, Crystal Brook, Kadina and Wudinna.
“In 2018 Simplicity released a new planter product range call the Territory, which is a ground following tyne opener system that has a range of significant features,’’ said Troy Law, General Manager of the Dalby, Queensland, based Simplicity Australia operation.
“The machine we are demonstrating is 9 meters wide on 250mm spacing, using a Double Shoot pair row point and boot assembly (supplied by Rootboot),’’ he said.
Simplicity also last year displayed its latest Sectional Control Metering system. This product is currently being formally released, with selected retail machines in production for 2019 planting.
“The air seeder on show for our demonstration program is a new 30 Series 14,000 Trailing Steerable Quad, two bin machine with our 6-way Sectional Metering system and air Dampening system,’’ Mr Law said.
“This machine is also available with our new Direct injection Small Seeds Box metering system, a 9” load/unload Auger, Actuated bin lids, Calibration drive, Work lights, Camera kits and a range of other new features included as part of our 30 series range.’’
Simplicity has also partnered with JCB to utilise a new JCB Fastrac 8330 tractor. The Simplicity Sectional Control system operates using the X35/Apollo control system, with the JCB tractor installed with Topcon GPS & Auto-steer systems to fully display the VRC and Sectional Control functions and features.
Mr Law said organising logistics for the roadshow had been a floating and ever-changing juggling act and that had prevented the road show calling on the Field Days in all its capacity.
“It will be all worth the effort to have the two new products on the road and for people to be seeing these products working in the field,’’ Mr Law said.
But Simplicity will be represented by dealership Wise Farm at the event and the road show event at Bordertown is being staged with support from Swan Farm and Ronco Motors also.
AW Vater, Rocky River Ag, G&J East Curtis’s sales are supporting the other road show events in South Australia.
