DELIVERIES to Viterra's silos has ramped up in the past few weeks, with about 2 million tonnes in the system.
According to Viterra’s harvest report, last week 361,000t of grain were delivered to the network.
Deliveries of wheat were increasing in the western region as growers finished up their barley harvest. There was also an increase in pulses being delivered as a result of the cooler weather.
There were 111,000t received in the central region last week, of which the majority were received into sites in the Mid North, down to Roseworthy, and the Yorke Peninsula.
The eastern region received nearly 67,000t which was the busiest week for the region so far this harvest. Canola was the most delivered commodity.
The eastern region’s receivals for the 2018/19 harvest are at 187,000t.
