WOOL WIN: Brothers Martin, Dominic and Jim Clark, Mannanarie, had their wool clip collected by the Quality Wool truck.

WITH a family history spanning back to 1875, the Clarks of Mannanarie, 20 kilometres north of Jamestown, have seen the wool market plummet and peak, and this year have benefited from strong prices in a tough season.

Journalist

Born and bred on a farm in the mid-north, I traded boots for books when I moved to Adelaide to study journalism. Spend some time writing for the stock journal in my study days, but found drifting once I completed my degree. This meant travel, a dabble in the teaching game, but mostly hospitality work at a 24 hour bakery. I love writing, I love listening to people's stories and I love, respect and appreciate the rural community, which makes working at the Stock Journal such a great opportunity. Fun facts are that I love to cook, have seen all the Marvel films (way too many times) and impulse bought a compound bow a few years ago.
