The inaugural Thriving Women conference to connect and advance agri-women kicked off today at the Adelaide Hills Convention Centre at Hahndorf.
Workshops and four inspirational keynote speakers sharing their agriculture career stories will fill the two-day conference.
The conference aims to encourage the development of networks, knowledge, and skills through participation and contact with other women in agriculture and its industry bodies.
Thriving Women will explore four themes that reflect key aspects of women's roles.
Workshops about personal and professional development, community and industry involvement, leadership and future opportunities and challenges, will be held to offer women the opportunity to broaden their knowledge across a wide range of topics.
Industry bodies including Viterra, Ag Excellence Alliance, Rural Business Support, Primary Industries and Regions SA, and Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges natural resources, also had information stalls to answer attendees burning questions.
