EAGLE Ridge Dohne stud at Cowell had a great result at their on-property sale on Wednesday last week, with full clearance of 41 rams.
The average was $302 up on last year at $1230.
Taking home the top price ram at $2400 was return buyers GW&WT Piggott, Cowell.
The ram weighed 95 kilograms, with 43.6 millimetre eye muscle depth, 3.8 fat score and it ranked 138.8 on the Dohne index.
Its fleece was 20.4 micron, with 99 per cent comfort factor and 68 per cent yield.
The top price buyers also bought a further three rams.
A major volume buyer was another return client - FT Nosworthy, Streaky Bay, who bought six rams to a top of $2100.
Jogilma, Cowell, bought four rams to $1200.
New clients included Newday Farming, Streaky Bay, who bought three rams to $1800 and CB&JM Klingberg, Cowell, three rams to $700.
All up, the sale attracted 18 registered bidders from across the Eyre Peninsula.
Principal Paul Webb said he was over the moon at the sale results.
"It was a a very good day, it was great to sell the lot," he said.
Mr Webb said he was focused on producing a very even line-up of sires with great dual-purpose traits.
The sale was conducted by EP Livestock and Real Estate, with Ben Dickenson auctioneering.
