Gumview and Gotta-Do-Well Charolais hosted a cattle showing education day for schools in the region.
AN education day aimed at providing the foundation basics of cattle showing for school students is set to become an annual event.
Gumview and Gotta-Do-Well Charolais studs hosted the one day event in Crystal Brook on Friday, which attracted students from the Mid North, Yorke Peninsula and Eyre Peninsula.
Organiser Daniel Ferme said the day aimed to give students more “hands on experiences” with preparing cattle for the show ring.
“A lot of people in the cattle industry start off with school cattle showing experiences,” he said.
