Australian Pumps’ pocket rocket pressure cleaner is now available with a telescopic extended lance, giving the operator the ability to clean heights of up to six metres. Called the Long Ranger, the cleaner allows pressure cleaning to be safely carried out on awnings, gutters and steep gable roofs.
The pocket rocket, or the AB30, is a revolution in Australian-designed high pressure water blasters.
The machine is the first of its kind in the new concept.
Using a Honda 6.5 horsepower engine, the Australian-conceived and built machine delivers a whopping 3000 psi pressure.
Used with the Long Ranger extended wand, the rocket represents a cost-effective and reliable tool for property maintenance, schools, house cleaning or any cleaning job that requires extra reach.
The Long Ranger Extenda wand is telescopic, enabling the operator to work with different lengths to suit the particular job.
“From a safety point of view, using an extended wand instead of a ladder is a win-win,” product manager Bruce Hulm said.
“All of the safety rules of pressure cleaner operation warn against using a pressure cleaner from a ladder platform. With the Long Ranger, the operator is operating from ground level but still achieving the goals of longer reach with absolute safety.”

The AB30 Pocket Rocket comes in Aussie’s Scud registered design, hot dipped galvanised steel frame with four big pneumatic tyres for ease of movement.
The pressure and flow combination comes from a Big Berty Bertolini heavy duty triplex pump with an industry-first three year warranty.
The Bertolini pump has ceramic pistons, brass head and 316 stainless steel valves for extra longevity.
The pump is outfitted with Aussie’s ASP kit to protect both the machine and the operator. The kit consists of a thermal dump valve that protects the machine from extended bypass running.
The thermal dump reacts when the temperature inside the pump head reaches 60 degrees, releasing a small amount of water, keeping it cool and allowing the pump to operate without damage.
It also has a unique safety valve that protects from pressure spikes.
