Near record entries were received for the 32nd annual event with 190 young cattle enthusiasts from SA, Vic, NSW, Qld and NT building their knowledge and making new friends.
Twenty two year-old James Pitchford from Echunga claimed the major award- the senior champion herdsman, after being the runner-up in 2015. The young Shorthorn breeder has won a three-month study tour to North America. The runner up was Annika Whale, Glen William, NSW.
