A “STYLISH” four-year-old cow caught the eye of NSW judge Brian Wilson, Tamworth, to be declared the senior champion cow and overall grand champion female at the 51st South East Holstein Fair.
“It has so much capacity, with a really good udder, and she walks on a good set of feet and legs,” he said.

Robsvue Sid Barmaid-ImpET was exhibited by Rob Walmsley and Bec Hehir, Murray Bridge.
The cow is the result of an imported embryo from Canadian heifer Buttz Butler Gold Barbara, bought by Rob and brother Kelvin Walmsley, with Pine-Tree Sid as sire.
It has previously competed at the SE fair, and won its class there, as well as class wins at the Royal Adelaide Show.

The reserve senior champion cow was also exhibited by Mr Walmsley and Ms Hehir, with Robsvue Lauthority Shamrock. It is the daughter of the 2011 Royal Adelaide Show interbreed intermediate champion, Glenorleigh Powerplay Shamrock.
Lauthority Shamrock was also the intermediate champion at last year’s SE fair.
Ms Hehir said they were regular exhibitors at the show, despite the distance.
“We try and get down here to support it every year,” she said. “Some of the cows here could have won anywhere in Australia.”
Honourable mention in the senior cow section went to Warramont Sanchez Fiora, Brett Fiebig, Mount Gambier.
Benlargo Holsteins claimed a double with intermediate and junior champion ribbons.
Benlargo Atwood Aura was intermediate champion, after winning the two-year-old 2015 All Australian photography competition.
Principal Angela Tweddle said cow was bred from a dam purchased in the Sleepy Hollow dispersal that had proved itself as a “good all-round cow”.
