“Creation of this full-time position demonstrates to the agribusiness community that Agribusiness Australia is serious about its role in the promotion, representation and growth of this important sector,” chairman Mark Allison said.
“Having been a director of the organisation for four years and with three decades of skills and experience in the agribusiness sector in Australia and New Zealand behind him, Tim was the ideal candidate for this new position.”
Mr Burrow said the organisation – formerly the Agribusiness Association of Australia – had updated its constitution and wanted to double its membership in the next 12 months.
