A “STYLISH” four-year-old cow caught the eye of judge Brian Wilson, Tamworth, NSW, to be declared the senior champion cow and overall grand champion female at the 51st South East Holstein Fair.

“She has so much capacity, with a really good udder, and she walks on a good set of feet and legs,” he said.
Robsvue Sid Barmaid-ImpET was exhibited by Rob Walmsley and Bec Hehir, Murray Bridge.
The cow is the result of an imported embryo from Canadian heifer Buttz Butler Gold Barbara, bought by Rob and brother Kelvin Walmsley, with Pine-Tree Sid as sire.
She has previously competed at the SE fair, and won her class there, as well as class wins at the Royal Adelaide Show.
The reserve senior champion cow was also exhibited by Mr Walmsley and Ms Hehir, with Robsvue Lauthority Shamrock. She is the daughter of the 2011 Royal Adelaide Show interbreed intermediate champion, Glenorleigh Powerplay Shamrock. Lauthority Shamrock was also the intermediate champion at last year’s SE fair.
Ms Hehir said the Shamrock bloodline had performed well for the stud.
She said they were also regular exhibitors at the show, despite the distance.
“We try and get down here to support it every year,” she said. “Some of the cows here could have won anywhere in Australia.”
