Livestock SA president Geoff Power provided an update to the meeting, which included news about Livestock SA’s work in the aftermath of the Pinery fire north of Adelaide, especially in coordinating the supply of donated fodder from across the state.
Two resolutions were unanimously passed – to support PPSA’s push for an independent review of water planning costs being proposed to be passed on through the NRM boards, and another to reinstate the Livestock Brands register which ceased on January 1.
