ALL roads led to Corriedale Hills stud at Inman Valley on October 8 for its annual Corriedale and Poll Dorset on-property sale, with buyers from the Fleurieu Peninsula to the South East and Western Victoria.

Vendors Brenton and Jo Lush posted a solid result for their Corriedales, 20 of 25 rams averaging $717 - up more than $150 on 2012.
The sale added to their recent success at the Royal Adelaide Show where they were most successful exhibitor for the breed and exhibited the grand champion lambswool fleece.
The sale's top-price was for a Corriedale at $1400, paid by Coomooloo, Inman Valley, which put together five rams. Ian and Wendy Hunt, Yankalilla, picked-up five rams, and Tom Hunt, Second Valley, took two.
Eight Corriedale rams sold into western Vic through Arcadian Wool Geelong, with Ian Linke, South Kolor, taking three; Lindsay Morton, Notram Partnership four; and Tim Hutton, Cheviot Hills, one stud ram.
