The Leonard's line of 156 April/May 2012-drop, July-shorn, Morley blood made $160 paid by Elders Lucindale.
They also sold a line of 192 April/May 2013-drop at $90; 147 April/May 2011-drop at $108; 119 April/May 2010-drop at $112; 79 April/May 2009-drop at $96; and 83 April/May 2008-drop at $88.
Elders Cleve livestock manager Mick Noble said the Leonard lines were the highlight of the sale.
"I was very happy with how the sale went, particularly with the better end of the young ewes," he said.
"The best young ewes in lines of 100-plus sold very well, but smaller lines were tougher to sell.
"Breeding ewes also sold very well, and showed the strength of the season, with most in prime condition."
Mr Noble said most 2008-drops made between $65 and $85, and trade support from Thomas Foods International was very strong.
The top-price line of 2008-drop made $93 for RJ Norris, Cowell, who also sold 128 April/May 2012-drop Glenville blood at $132.
Landmark Cleve's Ian Hines quoted young ewes $8 to $10 dearer than northern sales, breeding ewes fully firm, and older ewes $3-$5 dearer.
"Bidding from Thomas Foods International helped the market, along with strong support from the whole of the Eyre Peninsula," he said.
Buyers were also from the Mid North and South East.
