A total of 122 Dorper and White Dorper rams sold from the 142 offered, to a high of $2050, averaging $931, back on last year's $1264 average.
In the breakdown, 70 from 82 White Dorper rams sold to $1500 and averaged $893, while 52 from 60 Dorper rams averaged $968 and made the sale top of $2050.
The top price ram was offered by Mark and Julie Cullinan and family, Kelleen Dorpers, Wentworth, and sold to Phil Baird, Oakbank Station via Wentworth.
The 100-kilogram, July 2012-drop ram - Kelleen 483 - was the result of a Kelleen Syndicate mating and had an eye muscle depth of 43 millimetres and fat scan of 9.7mm.
Mr Baird said he selected the ram for its promising weight-for-age along with being good on its front feet and square.
He said the ram would be used over his better Dorper ewes.
Kelleen also sold the second-top price ram of the sale at $1600.
