The term 'bushies' is well associated with the Adelaide test match and this year will be no exception, as big characters with big hearts for cricket join together and dig deep for good causes.
The breakfast will be held at the Adelaide Festival Centre before the Friday session of the Ashes Test Cricket Series between Australia and England at the Adelaide Oval.
Bushman's Breakfast ambassador Les Burdett will arrive at the Adelaide Festival Centre to "check the pitch" at 7.15am, before attendees enter the breakfast field.
A sensational squad of speakers will entertain guests. Openers include former Aussie batsman and wicket keeper Wayne Phillips, the author of In Stockman's Footsteps Jane Grieve, and – for the fourth consecutive year – media personality Scott McBain who will MC the breakfast festivities.
Guests will be treated to a two-course brekky, entertainment and an auction, all in order to raise funds for SA Men's Health, Variety, and the Hall of Fame, before crossing the "creek" to watch the second day of the test match.
Hall of Fame chief executive officer Ben Maguire said it was great to be joining members and their friends in Adelaide for the breakfast.
"The Hall of Fame connects with people from right across Australia and we are delighted to be celebrating rural heritage (and cricket) in SA again," he said.
"See you at the crease for a great morning out."
