Landmark Anderson & Fawcett's Colin Fawcett said it was a good finish to the year, with prices fully firm on recent sales.
"The lambs are starting to look a bit dry but they met pretty good competition," he said.
"The increased numbers of mutton were showing their age but it was a good-sized yarding of reasonable quality.
"The quality of the cattle is improving all the time and these were fully firm."
Processors operated strongly through sheep and cattle drafts, pushing restockers to match their bids. Topping the lambs were 27 sold by SM&IP Corbally, Birdwood, to Max Noske at $129.
The Corballys also sold 26 lambs at $127.
Two pens totalling 131 lambs made $120 for Paech Brothers, Callington, to Thomas Foods International, and Coobara Wines, Birdwood, sold 12 at the same money.
Hoggets sold to $69 on 28 sold by B&B Redden, Cudlee Creek, to TFI.
Older ewes made to $68 for 15 sold by N Zimmerman, Sedan.
The best steers were four Murray Greys account GD Wicks & Son, Mount Torrens, which made $850 to Gawler River Cattle Co.
A sole Murray Grey steer from NO Zimmerman, Sedan, made $820, and another single Murray Grey made $740 for NL Roesler, Eden Valley.
Heifers topped at $760 for two Murray Greys sold by WR Sibley, Angaston, and another two of the same breed made $710 for JD&VA Cawrse, Freeling.
