Five stations took part in the sale, with Teetulpa making the top price.
The sale-toppers were a line of 525 wethers, six months, November shorn, Faraway Hills blood and mules and tail-stripped, that were knocked down to Elders Jamestown.
Teetulpa also sold 898 wethers, six months, November shorn and Faraway Hills blood for $80 to Jones Livestock, 331 wethers for $76 to Elders Roseworthy, 330 for $73 to Elders Kadina and 64 for $68 to Elders Peterborough, account Clapp.
The second highest price went to East Whydown for a line of 616 wethers, six months, November shorn, Mullooorie blood and M&TS, which made $81 and were bought by Richard Jones, Jones Livestock, Mallala. East Whydown also sold 251 wethers for $69 to Elders Orroroo.

Selling woolly wether lambs was Curnamona, with 120, six months, Broadoak blood, making $66 to Elders Orroroo for Ann and Con Lavington, Orroroo.
The same vendor also sold 260 ram and ewe lambs, five months, Broadkoak blood, for $63 to Elders Peterborough for Stephen McKeough, Dawson. Mr McKeough said he was looking to pick up extra numbers on the back of excellent seasonal conditions.
Curnamona also sold 75 woolly ram and ewe lambs, five months and Broadoak blood, which made $49, selling to Elders Peterborough, account Clapp.
Brett Rowe, KT&BA Rowe, Oodlawirra, said he was happy with how the sale went and that he would take part again. Mr Rowe said the season had been mixed at his property.
“The rainfall has been about average, it dropped off towards the end, and the feed has started to come back a bit now,” he said.
Maurice Francis, Oulnina, Mannahill, also said the seasonal conditions were mixed.
“We run four stations, and half are looking good, the other half not so good,” he said. “With our country near Broken Hill, it just didn’t rain.”
Mr Francis would also take part in the sale again.
