The station is run by Richard and Janne Warwick along with their daughter Frances Frahn and her husband Luke. After the program aired Mrs Frahn received more than 1000 emails within 24 hours.
The email responses ranged from people wanting to book a tour of the property, to those with family ties to the station. It took Mrs Frahn more than a week to reply to the massive response.
The program obviously got people googling Holowiliena. At the same time the program aired, a story Paula Thompson did for the Stock Journal’s Station Country feature a year earlier ranked near the top of the paper’s most viewed stories for the month.
For anyone with a love of history, the station is well worth a visit.
