Farmer-owned agribusiness Free Eyre and specialist rural finance broker Tin Roof Financial Services have joined forces in SA.
“Competitive and flexible rural finance is critical to our shareholders and clients’ profitability,” Free Eyre chief executive officer Mark Rodda said.
TRFS provides services to customers for new land purchases, refinancing existing debt, equipment finance and other facilities where the most appropriate loan is found to suit the client’s needs.
“When we first met TRFS proprietor David Coyner, it was clear that his business model was aligned with Free Eyre’s core objectives – create competition and add value in a market space dominated by corporate incumbents,” Mr Rodda said.
TRFS prides itself on gaining an intimate understanding of a farming enterprise’s needs – working with the farmers and their accountants/ advisors – and then negotiating the most suitable and competitive finance package from a variety of finance institutions for that farming family’s needs.
“I was raised at Kimba and Port Augusta and my family still own land at Kimba so I understand the need for flexible and competitive finance options throughout the annual farming cycle,” Mr Coyner said.
