AFTER an extended break, the Pinnaroo Spudfest returned in 2017, with up to 250 people attending the event.
On Friday night, about 98 attended the Spudfest black tie dinner in the pavilion at the Pinnaroo Showground, where celebrity chefs Matt Golinski, Justin Miles and Kyle Wood cooked meals using foods grown in the region.
An auction was also held, raising about $6500 for the event and community causes.
The Spudfest community festival was then held on Saturday, also at the showground, which featured childrens entertainment, such as magician Scott Griffin, food and craft stalls, mini-golf course, the Extreme trials show with Adrian Harry, and a ‘Build a Bench’ competition judged by TV renovators Carly and Leighton.
Adelaide bands Bluey and Pulse, Rat Ta Mango also performed throughout the day.
Stock Journal’s ALISHA FOGDEN was there.
