Exceptional beef prices and a great season across much of the state translated into plenty of sales, on the opening day of the 2017 SA Beef Field Days.
Some of the 17 studs which threw up their gates in the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula and Loxton even sold out of bulls and females.
