KAPUNDA has plenty to offer and those who live there want to share that message.
The Kapunda Business Alliance is ready to release its first glossy brochure outlining 70 things to see and do in the region.
Working party secretary, treasurer and founder Bill Adams said the town had many points of interest to showcase but needed to market it more strongly.
"We've got all these attractions here and now we need to make it known to people where we are and what we've got," he said.
Close to 100 businesses from the region are part of the alliance.
Bill was a key figure behind the alliance idea, and said there was a "great need" to promote the town and region which does not have a chamber of commerce.
The glossy brochure will be distributed throughout SA next week.
The business alliance, formed in August 2013, is also actively looking at other ways to promote the town.
It set up a website in the past year through a grant from the Light Regional Council, which helped offset design costs.
Members are given access to a free entry on the site with the company logo, contact information, photos and link to individual websites. This is to build it up as a central portal to search for services in town.
The alliance played a major role in helping the Kapunda Community Gallery relocate to its new premises on Main Street and is also raising funds to repair the iconic mine chimney.
