CLEANSKIN composite rams attracted strong interstate interest at the second annual Mid-North Wiltipoll sale on October 24 at Kapunda.
The multivendor sale saw Wonoka Partnership, Kapunda; Jayvee Farm, Bute; Spring Creek, Marrabel and Calena Heights, Tumby Bay together offer 51 rams, both purebred Wiltipolls and Wiltipoll composites.
There were 11 ewes on offer as well.
The top price Wiltipoll ram, bred by Wonoka, sold for $2400 to Peter and Kim Dowdle, Dunkeld, Woodhouse, Vic.
The top price composite ram, also from Wonoka, sold for $2500 to Peter and Judy Colless, Carthona Wiltipoll, Wingham, NSW.
